Vista 32 bit control panel icons




















This happens several times when creating the list of applets. The Mail applet went on sale and I tried to click on it … but any immediate movement of the applet would result in the above error …. Do you have any ideas on how to work around this issue … or how to launch the mail applet when you access these special elements of the bit control panel?

Then click OK. Close the registry. Open control panel. Now you should not see Mail bit at all. Close control panel. Copy the path in your notepad file from step 3 to your clipboard. Replace Null with your path from your clipboard and close the registry. Re-open control panel and your Mail bit icon should re-appear now with the proper icon and it should work as expected.
